Hello All!
Today marks my first day studying abroad! For those of you who might not know, I have am studying in Florence, Italy through an independent study abroad program called AIFS. I am currently in London for 2 days before hopping on over to Marina de Pescoluse, Italy for my orientation.
I originally thought a study abroad blog was extremely cliché. However the more I thought about it, it is a really amazing opportunity to document my time abroad both for myself as well as my friends and family.
So, that being said: here it is. Read my study abroad stories and anecdotes at this address or check out my photo dump at bearlystudying.tumblr.com (or both)!
Also a huge thank you to everyone who wished me goodbye. I already really miss the Bay Area, but am excited (though maybe a little nervous) to embark on this semester abroad.
Go Bears. Go Firenze.
Mariko
P.S. British people are so cool
